Things to share

I'm still waiting for temp jobs and it hasn't been much phone calls from the agencies. Is it economy really that bad? I still remembered when I was in sec 4, I got my temp jobs after 2 days of searching. Well, I went to find my resume.doc and updated it. I am prepared to forward it to the agencies once the updating is completed. For the last 2 days I have been trying to create simple Java applications for my mobile phone and it worked!

Wonderful 24th Birthday

Had a wonder night at Crystalbelle KTV and settler's cafe at Clark Quay with my Deyi frenz. Thank you all so much for the gift and the cake! 3 hours of KTV seems to be inefficient for wonderful singers like all us, will try to book for the $10 KTV after Leo's return from Taiwan.

Job Search

Followed STP to Toa Payoh and have lunch and bought myself a Mizuno sports shoes, from Toa Payoh World of Sports, at S$119.20. Need it to prepare for my up coming IPPT (jialat!).

After that we went to recuit express and tempserv for job application. The recuit express offered me a job at Gleneagles hosipital. I believe it's a private hospital but it does not have a website (omg!). It $6 per hour and 5 working days. The job is scope is admin assistance and the regular admin duties which I did when I was in secondary 4. Because it is so hard to get an IT temp job I decided to accept the offer. Exams are over!

15 May 2008, while rushing to take the train to Tiong Bahru for my Java exam, I managed to grab a copy of TODAY, it has been a long time since I managed to grabbed a copy of today.

After the paper, CIS frens and I took FuQi's van to bugis area and had lunch at Parklane DeliHouse. Coz they are planning to go mind's cafe, FuQi used alot of coupons.

After the lunch, I left them to Sim Lim Square and buy my WiFi USB adaptor. Upon reaching home I took hours to setup the wireless router because the so called SingNet's "smart wizard" is dam fucked up which I end up calling SingNet twice. The second the I called them, I was dam fed up, the technician only knows how to say "I see", "I see" and wasted 30 minutes of my time without solving my problem. In the end? I solved it myself...

This time I really need to look for a job, coz I am really broke. I also need to buy a pair of sports shoe since I also don't know the pair of new balance from SAF throw to which corner of the store room liao and I need to train up for my IPPT....

Exams update 2

Anyone watched the 抢摊大行动 on channel 8? Remember the "taste.n.c" western food from beach road? After my 3rd paper, my CIS frens and I went to beach road and have lunch there. The recommended bbq pork ribs was sold out so I had a plate of seafood spaghetti @ S$4.50. It pretty expensive for a small portion, and the taste was so-so. Thou the sotong was fresh and nice.

After the main course, we went up to the second level for the chocolate fondue @ thesweetstone. It was nice and the last time when I had chocolate fondue was last year Chinese new year @ Pariss International Seafood Buffet.

Exams update

I just finished my Math paper on Tuesday, and all I can say is that the paper is freaking easy. I aimed for 70 marks and above when I walked in into the exam hall. But when I came out knowing that I can get at least 85 marks! whauahaha!

Just received my (ADSL2 + Wireless) modem from SingNet on Thursday. A recontract of 2 years with SingNet (1mbps). First 12 months at S$17.81 and next 12 months at $35.62. With a free wireless modem and S$30 taka voucher. I was actually planning to sign up after my exams, but because of the taka voucher, my sister (also my broadband sponsor) told me to recontract last week.
