Prices of cigarette are increasing in Singapore, pack of 20 sticks of Marlboro cost more then S$10. Every year the government of Singapore will make efforts to help Singaporean quit smoking by having many "Stop Smoking" campaigns or increase the price of cigarettes. Recently, more and more place have the "No Smoking" sign in non-conditioned area such as makan places, or separate the whole dining area in smoking and non-smoking area. All smokers will still go over to the smoking area and have thier puff. My idea is, the best way to help people stop smoking is to increase the price of cigarettes, and the situation will be smilair to the picture below.
